Our Key Mission & Activities
- Community Support: Assists local horse groups, aids horse rescue organizations that care for abused or neglected horses, and supports programs working with children with autism or special needs.
- Local Projects: We have 15 plus years of contributing to local initiatives such as providing the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department with a new trailer, providing student scholarships (such as with Tri-County Tech), supporting the T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena with jumps, lighting, etc, and supporting the CU trails at Fant’s Grove by providing water and porta-john, trail maps, and more.
- SCUEC Spring Fling: This is our largest annual fundraiser. It is held at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, SC and is a 2-day open show for all breeds, and disciplines of riding styles. The show features hunter/jumper competitions, English and Western divisions, a “special friends” division, vendors, and more. It is geared towards a fun learning and training experience for either rider or horse without the expenses of the larger rated horse shows.
