Each year, SCUEC hosts two separate equine related events to promote the growth and improvement of the equine presence in the upstate of South Carolina.
SPRING FLING ALL BREED HORSE SHOW – a three day open show full of fun for multiple disciplines! Always held at the T. Ed Garrison Arena, Pendleton, SC generally in April. 2023 dates will be March 31st, April 1st & 2nd. Visit our Spring Fling page for details.
TRAIL RIDE AND HUNTER PACE – a fun day of competition on the trails of CU Experimental Forest South (Fant’s Grove). Dates change year to year due to weather but is usually held in the fall after our hot weather subsides.
2022 – there may not be an organized ride due to extreme logging at Fant’s Grove. We will however be organizing some trail maintenance days to help restore the trails. See the Trails Event page for updates.
